Photos: Yale Day of Service at Witherspoon Presbyterian Church

The Yale Club of Princeton chose the Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church as the site for the club’s  2016 Yale Day of Service, a day when alumni around the world do service projects. Activities included  de-cluttering and general clean up, painting the nursery and choir rooms, washing the windows, sanding the railings at the church, and demolishing some stone steps in preparation for masonry repair. The group was joined by church volunteers, including the junior usher ministry. Kevin Wilkes, a Yale School of Architecture alumnus and Paul Robeson House board member, gave the group a tour of Paul Robeson’s birthplace at 110 Witherspoon Street.
