Kung Fu Tea and Noodle House Opens on Nassau Street

Kung Fu insideDowntown Princeton finally has a restaurant that offers a variety of pho and other Vietnamese specialties, including rice bowls and Banh Mi.

Not in the mood for a meal? You can choose from more than 50 tea offerings including milk green tea, taro milk tea, honey lemonade, and bubble milk tea.

The Kung Fu Tea and Noodle House at 80 Nassau Street, formerly Zorba’s, celebrated its grand opening this weekend.

IMG_3608Although the outside of the building looks the same as Zorba’s, the inside has been renovated and has a minimalist feel.  The seating area includes about a dozen tables, and visitors can place to-go orders and wait at a counter at the front of the restaurant.

FullSizeRenderAppetizer choices include spring rolls, chicken wings, edamame, dumplings, kimchi, seaweed salad, scallion pancakes, and shrimp. The noodle house offers 10 ice bowl combinations, six ramen dishes, a dozen pho soups, and three sandwiches. Entree prices range from $10.95 to $14.95. Sandwiches are $6.95.

Beverage choices include traditional teas like oolong and green tea, milk teas, milk caps, yogurt teas, punches and slushes. Bubbles and toppings like red beans and mung beans can be added to beverages. Drink prices range from $3 to $5. Toppings are 50 cents each.

Kung Fu Tea is open Sunday-Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday-Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The restaurant is part of a chain based in New York.

    1. Readers have been complaining for a long time that Princeton has a ton of Indian restaurants and pizzerias, but no Vietnamese, thus the “finally.”

      1. Who knew? Well, I hope they’re successful. Certainly sounds like something different, which I’m all for.
