Use caution when driving today. Most roads are open, but there are still pools of water on portions of some roadways.

More showers and thunderstorms are expected Sunday. Areas that received heavy rain last night, including Mercer, Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon and Bucks counties, already have saturated ground so it may not take much rain to cause flooding issues today.

In Princeton, all roads have been re-opened. Quaker Road and River Road opened again at about 9:15 a.m.

The parking lot at the Princeton Junction train station is now accessible and shuttle service at the station has ended. All trains are running as scheduled.

Route 1 is now open in both directions. All other roads in South Brunswick have re-opened.

County Road 533 re-opened between Belle Mead Griggstown Road and Grist Mill Drive at about 11:15 a.m.

The Griggstown Causeway and the Blackwells Mills Causeway are both closed due to flooding.

In West Windsor, the state of emergency has been lifted. As of 11 a.m., all roads in West Windsor were open again. Abandoned vehicles that were towed yesterday were taken to either Al’s Sunoco or Grover’s Mill Towing, police said.

The Princeton Public Library will be open regular Sunday hours form 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

All flood warnings and watches, which were extended repeatedly, ended at 6:15 a.m. A flood advisory is in effect until 12:15 p.m.
