Playground Shabbat and Shabbat Under the Stars-  Jewish Center families programs are open to all members of the community. Free Summer Concert Series at Mercer County Park –  The free summer concert series at the Mercer County Park Festival Grounds continues from 6 to 10 p.m. this Saturday at the festival grounds at Mercer County Park in West Windsor. Kendra Morris performs rhythm, soul and blues. More information

Screening of “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” – The “Summer Movies on the Green” series continues on Palmer Square in downtown Princeton. Movie begins at about 8:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair. Free.

Montgomery Friends Farmers Market – Montgomery Friends Farmers Market is open every Saturday from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. from June through October. It is located at the Village Shopper on Route 206, just north of the junction with Route 518. Pennington Farmers Market – Peach Festival includes peach specialties and a bake-off. Produce, flowers, freshly prepared foods, grass-fed beef, popcorn, salsa, coffee and tea, naturally fermented vegetables, baked goods, wines and more. Live music. The Pennington Farmer’s Market is open Saturdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and is located on the lawn at Rosedale Mills, 101 Route 31 North in Hopewell Township. Free.

Potato Harvest at the Howell Living History Farm – Celebrate the harvest season by digging up potatoes that will be donated to local soup kitchens and food pantries. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.,  70 Woodens Lane, Hopewell.

The Garden State – Where Ideas Grow – Many people are familiar with Edison’s “invention factory” in Menlo Park, where he patented the phonograph, the light bulb, and many more innovations. Kids Splash & Dash Aquathon – The Princeton Recreation Department aquathon is a run/swim/run event for kids ages 7-14. Participants will run at Community Park South, swim in Community Park Pool and finish the event with a run at Community Park South. POSTPONED – Due to possible thunderstorms Sunday, the Full Moon Bike Ride has been rescheduled for Saturday, September 17th at 8:30pm (note earlier start time). A rain date has been scheduled for September 18th.
