Sō Percussion will offer two free performances at Princeton University during the 2016-17 academic year.

The first concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16,  in Richardson Auditorium at Alexander Hall. The group will perform John Cage’s “Living Room Music,” Paul Lansky’s “Springs,” a special commission by David Lang, and “Taxidermy,” a piece written for Pulitzer-prize winning composer Caroline Shaw.

Tickets are required for the free concert. You can order tickets online or two hours prior to the concert at the box office at Richardson Auditorium.

Sō Percussion’s second free concert as part of their residency at the university will be a celebration of Steve Reich. The performance will also feature a pre-concert discussion with the composer. The concert will be held on  March 14 of 2017. Tickets for that event are not available yet.
