2:30p.m. – 3:30p.m.  Spanglish Fly
The group Spanglish Fly plays a mix of Latin, soul, and R&B music that emerged from the clubs, street corners, transistor radios and pool halls of 1960s Spanish Harlem. Spanglish Fly originated in 2009 when DJ Jonny Semi-Colón (Jonathan Goldman) started noticing that amid his sets of old-school funk and soul vinyl, what really shook the dance floor was Latin boogaloo, the late-60s records of Joe Cuba, Joe Bataan, Ray Barretto, and more. Jonathan made it his mission to bring this music live to NYC audiences.

3:45p.m. – 4:45 p.m.  The Peter and Will Anderson Quintet
Sibling team Peter and Will Anderson hail from Washington, DC. They were selected internationally for Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead, the Next Generation Jazz Orchestra, and NFAA Young Arts Program. They’ve appeared with the Jimmy Heath Big Band, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, Village Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, and Bob Wilber Sextet. Their ensemble has performed in more than 30 U.S. states and toured Japan.

5 p.m. – 6 p.m.  Professor Cunningham and his Old School
Professor Cunningham and his Old School perform a swinging and grooving repertoire steeped in the New Orleans tradition. The ensemble has been a regular hit in the NYC underground party and swing dance scene. The group has also performed many major events worldwide including the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, the New York Hot Jazz Festival and the Albany Jazz Festival.
