The institutions receive rankings based on more than a dozen measures of academic quality. The rankings emphasize student outcomes, including graduation and retention rates. U.S. News made a slight change in the way it factors class size in the methodology, creating one index measure representatives for publication say more accurately reflects the varying class sizes across campuses.

The full rankings can be viewed on the U.S. News and World Report website.
