Princeton Hometown Halloween Parade Set for Oct. 28

The annual Halloween parade for the Princeton community will take place on Friday, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. The parade will kick off on the Palmer Square Green and make its way through downtown Princeton, ending at the Princeton Family YMCA. The festivities will continue at the YMCA with “Trunk or Treat,” bounce houses, and family-friendly crafts. This event is free and open to the public. Children and adults are encouraged to wear costumes.

The 2016 parade is organized by the Arts Council of Princeton and is
co-sponsored by the Princeton Family YMCA, JaZams, McCaffrey’s Markets, and the NJ Office of Insurance Fraud Prosecutors.

  1. Why is this parade always at 5 p.m. on a Friday. why can’t it be on a weekend? This like the public pools various policies against working parents – is very anti-working parent and anti-working mother like our mayor. Please change the parade to a weekend so people who actually work for a living to pay the taxes can attend.
