The New Jersey Office of Emergency Medical Services has selected Frank Setnicky as the outstanding EMT of the year. The honor
was announced during the organization’s recent annual awards ceremony in Atlantic City.

Setnicky has served an EMT in Princeton for more than 30 years and as operations director since 2007. He also volunteers as the chief of the Clinton First Aid and Rescue Squad in Hunterdon County.

The state recognized Setnicky for his dedication to patient care, commitment to training colleagues, and help improving the state’s emergency medical services system.

“Setnicky has dedicated his life to serving and educating his community and those around him, and improving the services that his agencies offer to the communities he serves,” reads the award citation.

“As the squad’s operations director, Frank has spent countless hours training hundreds of career and volunteer EMTs according to the highest standards of care,” says Mark Freda, President of the Princeton First Aid & Rescue Squad. “As a result, our community is safer and better prepared to handle emergencies.”
