The annual fall benefit for Arm In Arm, formerly the Crisis Ministry, raised more than $72,000 in support of its mission to ensure food, housing, and job stability for people in need in Mercer County.

National hunger prevention advocate Billy Shore was the keynote speaker for the event. Shore, founder and CEO of Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry, encouraged the audience of about 200 people to volunteer their time and talents to helping people in need and make change possible.

The event was held last month at the Frick Laboratory on the Princeton University campus.

“The spirit of our new name — Arm In Arm — carried the evening as friends and partners came together to recognize the need in our community and the ways in which we can join forces to meet that need,” said Arm In Arm Executive Director Carolyn Biondi.

Lead corporate sponsors of the event included Accenture, Johnson & Johnson, and NJM Insurance Group.

Founded in 1980, Arm In Arm serves more than 10,000 people each year with food, housing assistance, and job support. For more information or to volunteer with Arm In Arm, visit www.arminarm.org or call 609-396-9355, ext. 15.
