Stranger possibly tried to lure Community Park student into vehicle

Police officers in Princeton are investigating a suspicious incident involving a fourth grader and a stranger that took place on Tuesday morning just after 8:30 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the Community Park School after receiving a report about a suspicious incident. Police were advised by the principal at Community Park School that a fourth grade female student reported she was walking to school with an adult when she was approached by a female motorist (the adult the student was walking to school with is not a native English speaker and may not have been walking right near to the student) . The student said the female motorist who approached her told her to “get in my car” and “I have something to show you.” The student described the vehicle as a blue SUV or minivan with a New Jersey license plate and a red Rutgers R bumper sticker. The student described the suspect as a white female in her 30s with long blonde hair and blue eyes

There have been no other incidents or sightings of the unknown woman or the vehicle since the report. If anyone has had a similar experience they have not reported, please contact the Princeton Police Department.
