Princeton Community Works, a one-night networking and training conference for non-profits and volunteers, will be held at Princeton University’s Frist Center from 5 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. on Jan. 29.

More than 400 non-profit leaders, staff members, board members, and volunteers from more than 200 area organizations attend the annual event. The theme of the 2018 conference is “Accentuate the Positive.” About 25 workshops will cover topics including board and volunteer management, fundraising and finance, strategic planning, and social media.

Registration for the evening is $40 and includes: networking, a keynote address, two professional development workshops, a boxed dinner, coffee and snacks. Early bird registration until Dec. 15 is $35. Register online here.

The keynote speaker for the event is entrepreneur, speaker, author Randal Pinkett, co-founder, chairman and CEO of BCT Partners, a management, technology and policy consulting firm based in Newark. BCT Partners works with corporations, government agencies and non-profit organizations to promote community and economic development.

Community Works was founded by former YWCA Princeton CEO  Marge Smith. The conference is designed, organized and run by an all-volunteer group each year.
