Police seek public’s help locating missing Princeton senior

Police in Princeton are asking for the public’s help locating a missing person. Roper Road resident Doris Young, 77, has been missing since 11 a.m. on Sept. 11. She left her home in a 2006 Mercedes Benz R350 SUV with the license plate L86EHG. Police said she could be heading to Tuckerton, New Jersey.

Young is described as a white female, is  5’2”  and weighs about 160 pounds. She has blue eyes and gray hair. She has difficulty walking without help, and requires insulin to treat her diabetes. She is not in possession of any of her prescribed medications.

  1. She has been found. From P-Patch: A missing, endangered Princeton woman has been found safe in Hunterdon County, police said Wednesday night. Doris Young, 77, went missing from 83 Roper Road at about 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 11. She is dependent on insulin to treat her diabetes, but didn’t have her prescription medication on her.

    An officer with the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office pulled her over, according to Princeton police. She was confused and disoriented, but otherwise uninjured. She was subsequently taken to Hunterdon County Medical Center for a medical evaluation. end quote

    But as I read the description in the article I wondered how the public was supposed to help. I talked to at leat two short blue eyed grey haired elderly 160lb white women today all of whom had difficly walking.
