South Brunswick Police: Tutor charged with additional crimes against children

A math tutor in Plainsboro has been charged with two counts of sexual assault in the second degree, two counts of endangering the welfare of a child in the third degree, and one count of criminal sexual contact in the fourth degree, according to police and the Middlesex County Prosecutor.

On July 31, Suresh Rawal was arrested for allegedly inappropriately touching a 15-year old who was his student. Three additional victims have come forward since then. Rawal, 65, of East Windsor was arrested on August 27 and charged in those three additional cases as the result of investigations into the allegations.

In April of 1999, Rawal allegedly inappropriately touched a child between the age of 6 and 7 during a tutoring session at Rawal’s residence in Plainsboro.

Between May and July of this year, Rawal allegedly inappropriately touched an 11-year-old on multiple occasions during tutoring sessions at his business, the KASR Capital Academy, which is located at 666 Plainsboro Road, Suite 1175, in Plainsboro. 

In August of 2017, Rawal allegedly inappropriately touched a 16-year-old during a tutoring session at the student’s residence in South Brunswick.
