Friday, March 20th marks the spring equinox – the day when daylight and darkness are of approximately equal duration. This rewarding practice celebrates this shift from winter to spring. This practice is a traditional moving meditation in which we honor and reflect on the winter, and set intentions for the spring.
We will practice four sets of twenty-seven sun salutations and offer breaks in between each set. The practice concludes with gentle stretching and a sweet savasana (relaxation pose). We encourage you to do what you can, rest when you would like, and listen to your body.
All levels are welcome. Modifications will be offered and rest is always encouraged.
