45th Year of Music You Can’t Hear On The Radio Starts on WPRB
September 16 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
John Weingart returns to WPRB this Sunday, September 16th, to begin the 45th year of his eclectic folk music program, Music You Can’t Hear On The Radio. The show, heard on Sunday nights from 7:00-10:00 pm, is broadcast live from Princeton, NJ on WPRB at 103.3 FM and streamed worldwide at WPRB.com.
The program is notable for the deep well of often little-known music from which Weingart draws and the intriguing sets he creates around varied themes that may be topical, humorous, poignant, beautiful or just great music. As one longtime listener wrote, “[Weingart] consistently puts together a thoughtfully constructed program of eclectic music that keeps me listening week after week… IBM’s computer may be able to beat chess masters, but I don’t think Pandora will ever surpass what he does.”
