988 (1;800;273;TALK) — Exhibition by Nemo ’23
October 7, 2022 • 9:00 am - 6:00 pmFree
Art & Archaeology Practice of Art/Visual Arts senior Nemo presents a mixed media art show that explores the use of art as a coping mechanism and includes information about various mental health resources on campus and beyond.
988 was designed with two central questions: How can we use art as a coping mechanism? And how do we carry on? 988 explores various mental illnesses and is designed to bring comfort to those impacted by self-harm and suicide. 988 is meant to confirm that you are not alone in this world. Others feel the pain that you experience, even if their coping mechanisms look different from yours. Remember. Things can and will get better so long as you let them.
