An Evening of Song with Fiona Tyndal and Friends

Fiona Tyndall will be the featured performer at the Hopewell United Methodist Church’s fall concert series on Oct 20. She is a singer who presents a unique blend of traditional Celtic sounds with some innovative modern treatments. Fiona will perform both Burt Bacharach classics and Celtic favorites. She will be joined by her musician friends.
Fiona developed her unique style in singing traditional Irish music while growing up in the West of Ireland. In Part 1 of this evening’s performance, Fiona transports you back to Ireland, demonstrating her traditional style, and novel instrumental arrangements and up through the rugged hills of Scotland with some of Robert Burns (Scotland’s National poet) best loved songs. Fiona will be joined on stage by a team of talented musicians.

After a sort intermission, Fiona, with her band of musicians takes the audience back across the Atlantic to NYC and pays tribute to one of Americas most cherished composers, Burt Bacharach.
Her repertoire incorporates all the favorites including, The Look of Love, Say a little Prayer, Raindrops keep falling on my head and many more. For this set, Fiona is delighted to be supported by her Bacharach musician friends who regularly play this set in the local area
