Arts Council of Princeton to host Valentine Embroidery Workshop

Love is in the air! Join the conversation at Arts Council of Princeton on Saturday, February 9 from 1-3pm for an embroidery workshop to stitch a “Conversation Heart” in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Current ACP exhibition All That You Leave Behind features the beautiful embroidery methods used by textile artist Diana Weymar. Peruse the show for inspiration and create your own stitched heart just in time for Valentine’s Day. Arts Council of Princeton Artistic Director Maria Evans will lead participants in how to stitch with thread the classic sayings we’ve all grown up with.
This special workshop is supported by Pins and Needles, located on 8 Chamber Street in Princeton, NJ.
$10 registration fee. Ages 9 to 99. Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, 102 Witherspoon Street, Princeton, NJ. Parking is available in the Spring and Hulfish Street Garages and at metered parking spots along Witherspoon Street and Paul Robeson Place.
