Music videos aren’t greatly associated with film festivals so Anielle Reid, NJ Americana singer-songwriter, banjoist and producer was thrilled to hear when her music video for Morality, a song from her recently released Ain’t Like ‘Em, was officially selected to screen at the Princeton Independent Film Festival.
Founded by screenwriter and director Sara McDermott Jain, the festival grew out of a love of using film to take people into new points of view. With a wide array of documentary, comedic and short film filmmakers contributing to and scheduled to be in attendance at the festival; it displays the varying views of some of the best young filmmakers in the state.
“As an artist creating music to sync license for films it’s great to have the opportunity to be amongst and perform for filmmakers” says Anielle Reid on performing at the festival’s Awards Party on September 19th at Alchemist & Barrister.
The festival will conclude at the event where filmmakers and actors will hear if they will be taking home trophies and cash prizes for their work.
