For many people, the holidays are a sad time, particularly for those who have lost loved ones or suffered illness over the past year. Many of us feel the weight of the world’s ills heavily, and cannot participate easily in the festivities around us. Participants will celebrate the eucharist together, lighting candles and saying prayers to acknowledge before God the conflicting emotions of the season. Any and all are welcome for this quiet time of prayer and music may be a healing and welcome experience in the midst of holiday busyness.
