Castlebay at Princeton Folk Music Society Live Concert

The Princeton Folk Music Society presents Castlebay. Castlebay musically weaves together the heritage of New England and the Celtic lands. Members Julia Lane and Fred Gosbee feature poignant ballads interspersed with joyous dance tunes played on Celtic harp, guitar, fiddle and tin whistle. “Julia Lane is a fine vocalist whose voice has been compared favorably with Loreena McKennitt, Jean Redpath and Judy Collins. Fred Gosbee sings and plays classical and 12-string guitar, viola, fiddle, and Irish flute and tin whistle and enjoys experimenting with both traditional and ethnic instruments.
