As we enter the season of giving, the Hopewell UMC presents a celebration of the 12 days of Christmas – at our annual Christmas Bazaar Saturday, December 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 20 Blackwell Ave., Hopewell Borough.
The event will feature crafts, attic treasures, United Methodist Women’s bake table and a silent auction. We will also have information on alternative gifts and we will host the HomeFront ArtSpace program, who will have holiday greeting cards for sale.
Featured areas include:
Attic Treasures is the most popular area in our bazaar. Gently used and antique items are available for a free will donation. Everything offered comes from members, friends or members of the community. It’s always an interesting mix of items – unique and decorative as well as practical!
United Methodist Women’s Bake Table. We will have lots of goodies including breads, cookies or desserts that can used during December entertaining or for the Christmas holidays. Zucchini relish and Jezebel sauce will also be for sale.
Silent Auction. We offer a variety of gift, decorative and household items for bidding, including gift baskets and gift certificates or cards (favorite hairdresser, restaurants, other businesses, etc.) Handmade gifts are also included.
The Craft area will have our famous star potholders and crochet topped towels along with other handmade items such as tree ornaments, decorations, pillows and pillow covers and unique gift items.
HomeFront’s ArtSpace program will be selling holiday cards, made from HomeFront artists’ designs, which support their program. Learn more here.
The Hopewell UMC Christmas Bazaar is a fun time to pick up holiday gifts, see your friends or enjoy a cup of coffee or hot cocoa with us!
