As texts go, the New Testament is very short – just 138,000 words in total, much less than half of Tolstoy’s War and Peace. Yet Christians study it as the most important book in history. Why? This forum will explore this question, and will be the first of All Saints’ Princeton’s series “Christian Faith – The Big Picture in 8 Expert Overviews.” Our presenter will be Dr. Shane Berg, who completed his PhD at Yale University and taught New Testament at Princeton Theological Seminary, where he is now Vice President for Communication and External Affairs.
