Cosmic Microwave Background Cosmology for Kids

September 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Free

This CMB Cosmology for Kids day will introduce students the Cosmic Microwave Background, the oldest light in the universe. They will make speakers, play with polarizers, and take cool thermal images!

CMB-S4 is an ambitious experiment that will use many telescopes across the world to learn about the early universe. Come talk to the scientists leading this team and learn why they need to go to Antartica or the tops of mountains to study the universe.

This is a free event that is sponsored by the CMB-S4 collaboration and Princeton University. It is intended for middle-school students, but people of any age are welcome. RSVPs are appreciated, but not necessary. You can RSVP in the following link: https://goo.gl/forms/0xArToJEiY7cU4K03
