The Stop the Bleed course is a comprehensive and interactive session that teaches participants how to control bleeding in emergency situations. Key components of the course include:

• Recognizing Life-Threatening Bleeding: Understand how to assess and identify dangerous bleeding.
•  Application of Direct Pressure: Learn the techniques for applying direct pressure to a wound.
• Use of Tourniquets: Get hands-on experience with different types of tourniquets and when to use them.
• Wound Packing: Discover how to effectively pack a wound to control bleeding.

An exciting addition to this class is that each participant will receive their very own Stop the Bleed kit, created by PFARS. This kit includes essential items that can be crucial in a bleeding emergency.
