Jez Lowe, British singer / songwriter and a leading figure in the world of acoustic music, returns to the Princeton Folk Music Society. Initially he was influenced by Irish and Scottish traditions, but with time the wealth of songs and tunes he found on his doorstep in his native North East of England became a main source of inspiration. He is widely recognized as a musical ambassador for that region. His songs, sung in a mellow voice, range from sad to lyrical to funny and are accompanied by skillful playing on cittern and guitar.
