Four Centuries of African American Soldiers

Four Centuries of African American Soldiers is a weekend-long living history program in February that tells the heroic stories of America’s black warriors spanning four hundred years until today. The program includes authentic military artifacts, re-enactors, and military veterans sharing their own personal stories. During the program, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Old Barracks in an open house style, allowing them to freely roam through the galleries. Within the galleries, guests will be able to interact with the soldiers they come across and hear their stories.
The event is taking place Saturday, February 24th from 10 am to 5 pm and Sunday, February 25th from 12 pm to 4 pm. Admission is free. Four Centuries of African American Soldiers is an event you won’t want to miss and it is a great way to celebrate Black History Month. The program offers an unforgettable experience that is both informative and inspiring.
