Frankenread: 200th Anniversary of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein
October 31 @ 6:30 pm - 10:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 6:30pm, repeating until November 2, 2018
On Halloween 2018, there will be a world-wide marathon reading of Mary Shelley’s extraordinary novel: “Frankenread”–various groups, academic, civic reading the entire novel.
At Princeton University, this event will take place over three festive evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., and will include a screening of Thomas Edison’s silent film “Frankenstein” (1910) which was the first motion picture adaptation of the novel. Several readers from around the campus and community will each take about ten minutes to read.
All events will be held in the Chancellor Green Rotunda on Princeton University’s campus.
Free and open to everyone.
