The Tulpehaking Nature Center invites families to fish Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to noon. Children and adults can fish for free — no equipment or fishing license required.
For this event, the nature center will be on site at Spring Lake in Roebling Memorial Park
in Hamilton with guided activities, equipment and fishing lessons. Visitors can practice
their casting skills on the challenge course, learn about common sport fish and fishing
regulations, or go lakeside for some catch-release fishing with the experts.
A limited number of fishing poles will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so
please arrive early. Spring Lake is accessible from Sewell Avenue, off South Broad Street.
Pre-registration is required; call (609) 888-3218 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Tulpehaking Nature Center provides programs and exhibits that encourage visitors to
explore and discover the many cultural, historic and natural resources of the Abbott
Marshlands. It is owned by the County of Mercer and operated by the Mercer County Park
