The Hopewell United Methodist Church will honor the memory of long-time member and leader Norma Arons on Sunday, September 25, with the dedication of a butterfly garden on the church property.
Norma Arons, who was a beloved kindergarten teacher for 36 years in the Montgomery School District and served on many church committees including the Sunday School Superintendent and President of the United Methodist Women, died last September. Mrs. Arons showed her Christian caring for many in and outside the church and is remembered with much love and affection. Her life of dedication to church and community was exemplary.
Everyone is invited to a short program of dedication and remembrance after the 10 a.m. worship service at Hopewell United Methodist Church, 20 Blackwell Ave. This will be followed by “Sundae Sunday,” where we will make ice cream sundaes. The program will be held outside, weather permitting.
