In partnership with noted graffiti artists, Leon Rainbow and the Vicious Styles Crew, TerraCycle will host the 11th annual Jersey Fresh Jam, New Jersey’s biggest showcase of urban art and hip hop culture. As the largest Jersey Fresh Jam to date, this year’s festival will include all four performing elements of hip hop: MCing, DJing, graffiti, and breakdancing.
This block wide festival will feature 50 graffiti artists mostly from around the New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey area, with special guests coming from San Diego, and DC. Visitors will be able to experience over 40,000 square feet of live painting, as well as music being performed throughout the afternoon. This year, there will be two stages with one featuring over a dozen bands and MCs, while the other stage will feature DJs and breakdance crews.
Since the launch of the first Jersey Fresh Jam in 2005, the event has grown from a small celebration for a few local artists into New Jersey’s premier hip hop festival and one of the most respected celebrations of hip hop culture on the east coast.
