The opening reception for the Latin Heritage Exhibit will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Patrons will be able to view and purchase art, as well as chat with the artists while enjoying jazz music. All pieces will be available for purchase unless otherwise noted and will be on display until Sept. 26.
The exhibit showcases paintings, photographs and more honoring the Latin American experience as seen through the eyes and lives of five artists: Jazmyn Jones, Tamara Ramos, Leticia Letty Acevedo, Marthalicia Matarrita and Karen Valentin.
The Gingered Peach will be providing a Latin American menu with flavors originating from the Spanish speaking Caribbean diaspora. Pernil(Roast Pork), Moro(Black Rice), Plantanos(Sweet Plantains), White Rice, Empanadas(Beef and Pork), Mojo Chicken and other Latin street foods will be served. Hopewell Valley Vineyards owner Violetta Neri will be pairing these offerings with some of her wines made in Hopewell Valley.
