An event every week that begins at 9:00am on Sunday, repeating until April 3, 2017
Every Sunday during Lent, All Saints’ Church, Princeton, offers soup lunches, provided by volunteers of the different ministries here at ASC, accompanied by a presentation. Beginning Sunday, March 5th, this year’s Lenten Soup Lunches & Talks will feature presentations on the ‘Artefacts of Faith’.
The great theologian Tertullian famously wrote that ‘The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church’, and for centuries Christians have looked to the lives of saints for encouragement and inspiration. But Christian history has also invested other kinds of things with spiritual and theological significance – pictures, places, buildings, books and so on. As in previous years, All Saints will be adding to the normal Adult Forum program each Sunday in Lent. After the 10.15 service, members of the congregation are invited to join together for a simple bread and soup lunch, and to listen to a series of short presentations on some ‘Artefacts of Faith’
All are invited to attend, and childcare is available.
