New Shoots Art Exhibition
April 13 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
An event every day that begins at 11:00am, repeating until May 5, 2019
Roots Artist Collective is presenting work by its members in an exhibition entitled “New Shoots” at Touchstone Gallery in Yardley from April 13 to May 5. Since 1988, the members of Roots have met together monthly to share their work in progress over a meal. Although they have been in many exhibitions individually, this is only the second time that will be showing together as a group.
New Shoots is the work of mature artists working in different media — including oil, acrylic, watercolor, venetian plaster, printmaking, collage, and mixed media — who have continually opened themselves to new forms of expression and developed extraordinarily individual ways of making art. While some artists settle early into a particular style or niche, these ten continue to infuse their work with new vitality as they push their personal boundaries and seek new ways to express a persistent internal vision.
The names of those participating in the exhibition are: Joanne Amantea, Gilda Aronovic, Joy Barth, Vicky Chu Moy, Joanne Donnelly, Deborah Eater, Joy Kreves, Dorine Lerner, Florence Moonan, and Alice Sims-Gunzenhauer. Each of them presents new work that has evolved in some fashion from earlier work.
