Ode to New Jersey Opening Reception

New Jersey was given the nickname of The Garden State almost spontaneously back in the 1920s however lately it has been referred to as the Diner capital of the world. It has been etched in history as being at ‘Crossroads of Revolution’ with Battle of Trenton being one of the pivotal moments in the American Revolutionary War. It is famous for the Jersey tomato, cranberry bogs and growing blueberries (the state’s official fruit). Ode to New Jersey features art celebrating the dynamic and ever changing state and its unique meaning to each of us.
The opening reception is free and will be held on Friday, September 8th, from 6-8 pm at West Windsor Arts. The art will be exhibited from August 29th to October 28th.
