The Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a “Shark Tank” style pitch competition called Pitch Stop VI, on Thursday, Feb. 22 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Grounds For Sculpture in Hamilton.

Three local startups will compete for a cash prize: ByeByeCry, a portable sound machine designed to help soothe colicky and fussy babies; Embrace Tutoring and Educational Services, a service that connects vetted, experienced tutors with students for one-on-one personalized lessons in all academic subjects; and Lambent Data, Inc., a software platform that boosts engagement and improving outcomes in health and social drivers of health.

The startup founders will present to a panel of seasoned investors, including Sean O’Sullivan of venture capital firm SOSV,  James Howard of the Black Inventors Hall of Fame, and David Stengle of Board ++ and Startup Grind Princeton.

The three selected startups will compete for a prize package of professional services worth more than $10,000. The package includes services from Integris, Christopher Kinkade, Imbue Creative, Primepoint HRMS & Payroll, NJM Insurance Group, and the Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Pitch Stop VI attendees will receive a complimentary ticket to experience “Nightforms: dreamloop by Klip Collective,” an after-hours multisensory experience at the Grounds For Sculpture. Pitch Stop is open to both Chamber members and non-members. Tickets are $45 for members and $55 for non-members.
