Learn from a pro! Portrait photographer Frank Veronsky teaches you how to compose your portraits to make them more interesting, how to capture the character of your subject and how to use outdoor and artificial light and backgrounds. In the second, hands-on shooting workshop, lens choices and work with natural and artificial light and posing will be discussed. The class participants will shoot in the studio and outdoors, if weather permits. Participants will take turns modeling and shooting for an important insight into the experience on both sides of the camera.
In the third, post-processing class, students will learn how Frank uses Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop to make his portraits publication-quality. Students will work with exposure, contrast and color corrections and learn tools and techniques for precision facial retouching. You will leave this class with useful information to take your portrait work to the next level.
