On Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 8:00pm, Princeton Pro Musica, led by Ryan James Brandau, will present two pieces in striking contrast: Stabat Mater by Josef Rheinberger and Passion and Resurrection by the Latvian composer Ēriks Ešenvalds with Estelí Gomez, soprano, singing the role of the Evangelist. Also on the program will be Josef Rheinberger’s Organ Concerto No. 2 in G minor featuring Eric Plutz, Princeton University Organist, as the soloist.
The performance will feature soprano Estelí Gomez in the Ešenvalds, and Eric Plutz, organist at the Chapel, in the Rheinberger. Both are virtuosic performers in their own right.
