When Paul Lewis, a concert hall staple and veteran interpreter of the central European canon, was on Alexander Hall’s stage last season, we were unsatisfied with only one concert. Hence, he returns this year to perform an evening of mid-Romantic masterworks, including Schubert’s great Sonata in B Major.
PROGRAM: Brahms Three Intermezzi Op.117, Schubert Sonata No. 9 in B Major D. 575, Brahms Four Ballades Op. 10, Liszt “Dante” Sonata
