Annu Palakunnathu Matthew, Director at the Center for the Humanities Professor of Art (Photography) at the University of Rhode Island, presents her photo-based artwork, which is a striking blend of still and moving imagery.
Matthew uses the medium of photography to challenge the distance between past and present and the separation between fact and fabricated history. This program is co-sponsored by The South Asian Studies Program, Art History, and the Zimmerli Art Museum, Rutgers University.
