Harpsichordist Rebecca Pechefsky will visit Princeton Early Keyboard Center to play a recital on the evening of Friday April 6. The program will include selections from Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier Book II, the Huitieme Ordre of François Couperin, ending in the magnificent and imposing Passacaille, and Sonatas by Antonio Soler. Rebecca is based in Brooklyn, and performs often in the New York area. She has also performed throughout the United States and in Europe. She has recorded music of Krebs, D’Agincourt, Walther, and others, and has recently released her recording of WTC Book II. She is a prolific chamber musician as well as a solo artist. For this program she will be playing on a Keith Hill harpsichord. The concert is free. No advance tickets are necessary.
