Reimagining Morven & its Historic Gardens
March 5 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm$15 – $60
Morven Museum & Garden reopened in September 2018 with its reimagined permanent history exhibition Historic Morven: A Window into America’s Past receiving wide acclaim. Curator Elizabeth Allan will share insights into the exciting changes featured in the Museum’s new exhibit and some background on its inhabitants. Plans for Morven’s historic garden renovations, including gardens inspired by Annis Boudinot Stockton (18th century), Harriet Potter Stockton (19th century), and Helen Hamilton Stockton (20th century), based upon writings and journals of these women, have been underway along with the Museum’s redesign. Morven’s Horticulturist Pam Ruch will present garden designs planned by designer Peter Ham for reveal in Spring/Summer 2019.
