Rodale Field Day

July 21, 2017 @ 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

$35

Join NOFA-NJ July 21 on a visit to Rodale Institute in Kutztown PA, a visionary organization supporting evidence-based innovation in agriculture. Field Day showcases Rodale Institute’s researchers and staff to learn about the latest results of our research projects and visit all demonstration stations on our 333 acres experimental farm. Participants will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with Rodale Institute experts and learn about a wide variety of research and demonstration projects, all focused on organic agriculture.
Learning demonstration stations will be set up throughout the farm so you’ll have time to explore our 333 acres when walking or enjoying a leisurely wagon ride from site to site. Demo stations include farming trials, vegetable trials, composting, soil microbiology, no-till management, livestock systems, water purification systems, honeybee conservancy, and pest management. Visit www.rodaleinstitute.org to learn more.
