Seuls en Scène 2023 presents Vie et mort de Jacques Chirac, roi des Français by Léo Cohen-Paperman
September 16 • 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
FreeJosé Corrini and Ludovic Müller harbor the dream of staging a show on Jacques Chirac! But what could a comedy on France’s most popular and contradictory president tell us about our own times? For Ludovic and José, it is now time to get on stage, right where many before them have tried to catch the “conscience of kings.” This play is the first of eight in the Huit rois (Eight kings) series, which will sketch the portrait of the eight presidents that have ruled France since the advent of the Fifth Republic.
The show is performed in French. Show duration is 1 hour, 30 minutes.
