The St. Salvator’s Chapel Choir, the liturgical choir of the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, will perform on Friday, March 20 at 7 p.m. in Miller Chapel on Princeton Theological Seminary’s main campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
The flagship choir of the University of St. Andrews is comprised of thirty students. Under the direction of university organist Tom Wilkinson, the group performs a repertoire that spans the six centuries of the university’s existence. The choir has worked with musicians such as Sir John Eliot Gardiner, James MacMillan, Paul Mealor, and Arvo Pärt. This concert is part of the choir’s tour of the eastern United States.
The concert is presented in memory of David A. Weadon, the late director of music and organist at Princeton Seminary, and is underwritten in part by the David A. Weadon Memorial Trust.
