Stream Stomp

July 15 • 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free
Kingston’s Heathcote Brook in the Mapleton Preserve is the place to be on a hot summer day! Join Friends of Princeton Nursery Lands and Stephen Holman II, an AmeriCorps Source Water Protection Ambassador, to learn about the critters that call Heathcote Brook home. Using nets, collecting jars, and magnifying glasses, we will be wading in shallow water and searching under stones. Wear water shoes or sneakers, and proper clothes for a short trail walk. Come learn what the creatures we find can teach us about water quality, and have some fun in the brook. Rain date is July 16. Free, and all are welcome, but pre-registration is requested at https://fpnl.org/?page_id=2988
For more information, call 609-683-0483.
