Sustainable Minds: The State of Clean Energy

FreeSustainable Princeton’s Sustainable Minds series returns for the final session of 2024. This hybrid event taking place at the Princeton Public Library on December 4th brings Veronique Oomen, Director of Clean Energy at the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, and Abraham Silverman (Energy consultant and Research Scholar at Johns Hopkins University) together to discuss the current state of renewable energy and what we can expect to see shortly.
Topics to be discussed:
- Overview of New Jersey’s clean energy policies and targets
- Innovations in renewable energy technology
- The economic and environmental benefits of transitioning to clean energy
- Challenges in scaling renewable energy across the state
- Opportunities for businesses and individuals to contribute to the clean energy movement
