Recycling company TerraCycle is hosting the 12th annual Jersey Fresh Jam, New Jersey’s biggest showcase of hip hop art and culture on Saturday, Aug. 12. In partnership with Trenton based graffiti artists, Leon Rainbow and Vicious Styles Crew, TerraCycle is providing their headquarters as a canvas for talent around the country to express artistic freedom.
The Jersey Fresh Jam is a free, open event for all ages. The largest Jersey Fresh Jam to date, this year’s festival will feature all four performing elements of hip hop: MCing, DJing, graffiti, and breakdancing. Visitors can watch over 50 invited graffiti artists express their unique styles live on given sections of TerraCycle headquarter walls. The festival will feature two stages: one for more than a dozen guest musical artists performing throughout the afternoon, and a second featuring DJs and break dancers. Local food vendors will also be present.
