The Arts Council of Princeton presents Free Pop In Space Workshop: The Art of Journaling

August 9 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

The Arts Council of Princeton, in partnership with jaZams, presents a free Pop In Space Workshop: The Art of Journaling.

This class is an introduction to the world of art journaling. All levels can enjoy exploring the various techniques to create beautiful spreads in their art journals. Students will have access to many different mediums to allow them to learn different techniques including collage, image transfers, ink, and watercolor to create beautiful and inspiring pages. All that is required, is a sketchbook (one that has thick pages to handle layers is preferable). Hosted by Megan Quinlan/jaZams.

Wednesday, August 9, 6:30-8:30pm at 10 Hulfish Street, Princeton. Pop In Workshops are donation-based and open to the public. For more information and a list of upcoming workshops, visit artscouncilofprinceton.org.

The Arts Council of Princeton and Palmer Square have teamed up to bring DIY-styled public workshops to downtown Princeton. The new Pop In space is located at 10 Hulfish Street, directly across from Halo Pub and next door to jaZams and the ACP’s “energy playground” parklet. The space will be open at posted times for events such as sewing projects, drawing workshops, the art of journaling, robotic demos, bike repair, old movie screenings, and a lot more. So, get up outta your armchair, stop fiddling with your phone, and come on down and make something!

The Arts Council of Princeton, founded in 1967, is a non-profit organization with a mission of Building Community through the Arts. Housed in the landmark Paul Robeson Center for the Arts, designed by architect Michael Graves, the ACP fulfills its mission by presenting a wide range of programs including exhibitions, performances, free community cultural events, and studio-based classes and workshops in a wide range of media. Arts Council of Princeton programs are designed to be high-quality, engaging, affordable and accessible for the diverse population of the greater Princeton region.
